9/24 - 9/26: I worked on the graphics of the board game in AutoCad. This was for Alternative Solution #1. I am behind my schedule because I did not have time to scan my alternative solutions into my blog
up to date on work. I spend Thursday and Friday's class period drawing my alternative solutions in AutoCad. I scanned my brainstorming and my hand drawn alternative solutions on Friday. I worked on the graphics to add to my board game.
I am on schedule with my calender. Monday and Tuesday I finished drawing the alternative solutions on AutoCad. I posted these solutions on my blog. I wrote my outline for the informal presentation and I am currently practicing my presentation. I am scheduled to present sixth, tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3rd.
I am ahead of my schedule. Yesterday I did my presentation at the Informal Progress Update Meeting. I talked to my mentor on the telephone yesterday, 10/3/07. Today I chose a final solution and began my selection-rejection repot.
I have not yet designed my game pieces. The problem with the internet forced the presentations to extend to 10/9. So I am behind. I am currently finishing my selection-rejection report. I will sketch my game pieces tonight at home and draw them tomorrow in AutoCad.
Today I completed modeling the game pieces on AutoCad. The game pieces are two people, a girl and a boy. In the final game, there will be three of each, each in a different color.
Monday, 10/15 I was not in school. Tuesday, 10/16 I met with Mr. Alfonse and Ms. Green to talk about my project. Ms. Green and I thought of a new idea to add to my current game. For solution #1, I will add an additional piece which will be a placemat. Each player will get one and have to add items to the placemat to build a balanced meal. By landing on activity spaces, they will have to give back certain meal items after completing the given activity.
I am currently making progress on my model. Today, I will draw graphics on the model board game.
The construction of my model took longer than expected. I am currently working on drawing and coloring the graphics on the board game at home. In class, I am writing my selection-rejection report and emailing my mentor.
Model completed. Selection-Rejection Report completed. Mentor Contacts being typed together in one document.
Outline for formal progress update complete. Mentor Contacts complete.
Presentation went well. Overall, the class presentations went over by one day. Currently, I finished my schedule for Marking Period 2 and I will begin work on my AutoCad Drawings.
